Reynoldsburg City school is actively recruiting dedicated and flexible PD Guest Teachers for the 2024-2025 school year, to provide instructional coverage for teachers who are attending professional development sessions. This role is crucial to ensuring continuous and effective learning experiences for our students during their teachers' absences.

 

The successful candidates should have an active Ohio teaching and/or substitute license. If you are interested AND qualified to teach in Ohio, please complete the application.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates a growth mindset

• Follows established school discipline procedures
• Follows established procedures and rules that enhance learning
• Encourages students’ attendance
• Follows lesson plans.
• Enthusiastic about student growth and success
• Ensures that students are never left unattended in the classroom.
• Keeps students safe and engaged.
• Monitors student progress and assists where needed by keeping close proximity.
• Maintains existing classroom management and discipline procedures.
• Understands building and classroom policy and procedures.
• Provides written feedback for the classroom teacher.
• Maintains accurate attendance records.

 

Preferred Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree - any field.
• Clean criminal background.
• Positive professional references.
• Experience working with school-aged children.
• License: Ohio teaching and/or sub (Required).
